Walking your dog is essential to their well-being which keeps them happy and healthy. Because of changing weather it can be unsafe to walk them at certain points of the day. This app finds your current location and predicts the forecast for the day and weeks to come. The app will give you recommendations for your dog based on the weather in your current location. Walkie is programmed to keep your dog safe, and help you live a more organized life.

WALKIE PR BOX
“Pupfluencers” are well groomed, aptly accessorized dogs with exuberant personalities and growing online fan bases. The owners who curate the cutest collections of photos and videos can reach hundreds of thousands of followers.
The Walkie PR box will be sent to the top pupfluencers in hopes they download and try our app. Included in the box are treats and helpful walking items. The goal is to have owners post the box on social media spreading attention to Walkie.
These collateral items were created to spread the Walkie brand and make it noticeable.

INSPIRATION
After my family got our dog we quickly realized weather was going to impact our day-to-day activity. When going on walks we were constantly getting stuck in the rain miles away from home, not planning well enough for a big snow storm, and always worrying if we were walking our dog for too long. Because of these problems I set out to create a solution.
POSITIONING
The weather industry is taken over by apps telling the forecast for humans only. Walkie is unique because it is meant for the dog owner. It is designed to help people plan when they are going to walk their dog based around the weather. Walkie sets reminders, tells you the best time to leave, how long you should be outside, pavement temperature and more! Walkie takes the guessing out of how your pet is feeling and puts the control in your hands!
